Filatura Caligaris was founded in 1909 by Ottavio Caligaris as Condenser System, in the original premises at Via Roma 104 in Valdengo.
Expanded and developed by Carlo and Oscar Caligaris, in 1969 the company was taken over by Pino and Franco Ceretti. Their know-how and wealth of experience led to the introduction of the modern technology of the open-end system and in 1975 to the building of a new plant at Via Firenze 19.
Now at the head of the company are Pino's children Laura, Chiara and Paolo who, following in their fathers' footsteps, have brought an ijection of new energy into this company which is leader in its field.
It is a family run business with the latest equipment and machinery as befits a company of European standing

50% of production is geared to the home market and 50% to export.
The yarns, made of natural and synthetic fibres, ecru, bleached and dyed are sold for knitting and weaving.
Customers can rely on regular supply and high production output.
